Tech Cross Country Summer PracticeHigh School Summer ActivitiesTech Boys & Girls Cross Country Summer Practice (grades 7-12) Open to incoming 7th - 12th grade Tech and South students. Summer is a time for athletes to get stronger and build a running base for the fall. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome! The summer program is 100% optional. Participation is encouraged to build relationships with teammates and a consistent work ethic. Strength training during the summer, building up to the season, is important. Lift with Coach Kylie twice per week at 6:30am, then team run after lifting. Can't make the lift? Come at 7:15am for the team run. Tech Power Summer Strength & Conditioning Program (entering grades 7-12)High School Summer ActivitiesThe Tech Power Strength and Conditioning Program is designed to develop EXPLOSIVE speed and strength. We incorporate Olympic weight movements, circuit training, plyometrics, and dynamic speed development to monitor and track your athlete’s growth and development. Sessions will run from 8:00-10:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays. Our start date is June 2nd and our last day is August 6th. There will be no programming during the MSHSL Dead Period, the week of July 6-10. Tech Tiger Youth Flag Football League (entering grades K-4)RecreationThis program is an engaging introduction to the TRADITION of St. Cloud Tech Tiger Football. Your Tech Football Player will spend time each session working on basic ball skills, take-away skills, and pursuit fundamentals. Each session will conclude with players dividing into groups (K-2 and 3-4) for team games like 7 on 7 Flag Football and Tiger Ball. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL). Tech High School coaches and players will be leading the instruction and coaching the teams. Bring to class: athletic shoes or cleats and plenty of water daily. All activities will be held at the Tech High School Auxiliary Fields.
