Tech Youth Summer Flag Football (Entering Grades 5-8)RecreationThis program is an engaging introduction to the TRADITION of St. Cloud Tech Tiger Football. Your Tech Football Player will spend time each session working on passing, catching, route running, speed & agility. Each session will conclude with players dividing into groups or team games like 7 on 7 Flag Football and Tiger Ball. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL). Tech High School coaches and players will be leading the instruction and coaching the teams. Tech Youth Tackle Football League (Entering Grades 5 & 6)RecreationCome join the Tech Football Family! This is a padded, full contact football league offered to students at Clearview, Lincoln, Oak Hill, Talahi and South Junior High Schools who will be entering the 5th and 6th grades for the 2026-27 school year. Practices are held twice a week in the evenings and games are played on Saturday mornings. There are approximately 15-20 players per team. Students will learn the Tech Tiger fundamentals of blocking and tackling, develop both ball skills and take-away skills, and learn the offensive and defensive schemes and techniques used at Tech. Sportsmanship and teamwork will be emphasized throughout. 6th graders attending South Jr. High should sign up for the school they attended as 5th graders. Pads and other equipment will be provided. Equipment pick-up details and a detailed fall practice schedule will be emailed in late July. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULTS, M, L, XL, XXL). Bring to class: athletic shoes, mouth guard, athletic supporter and plenty of water. All future Tiger Football Players are encouraged to participate. Tiger Power Summer Strength & Conditioning ProgramHigh School Summer ActivitiesTiger Power Summer Strength and Conditioning Program (Grades 7-12) The Tech Power program is designed to develop EXPLOSIVE speed and strength. We incorporate Olympic weight movements, circuit training, plyometrics, and dynamic speed development to monitor and track your athlete’s growth and development. Sessions will run from 6:30 - 7:45 AM or 10:00 - 11:30 AM Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Our start date is June 3rd and our last day is July 30th. Tuesday Trail Run Adventures & Apollo Cross Country Practice (Grades 6-12)High School Summer ActivitiesIt’s time to get off the beaten path and do some trail running! We will visit a different County/Regional/State park each session. Participants need to be able to run at least 2 miles continuously. (June Beginner and Intermediate Distance Running is a great way to get ready!) Some locations will include an opportunity to swim. Participants who choose to swim must wear a life jacket. Contact the coach if you need a life jacket. Practices will be in conjunction with the Apollo High School Cross Country Running team. Meet at door 11 @ Apollo. Young Explorers Day Camp Series (Grades 5-8)RecreationYour child can have fun making new friends while getting plenty of fresh air and experiencing the beautiful 2,900 acre campus of Saint John’s Prep at this explorer camp. Participants will enjoy adventure and age-appropriate discovery activities, guided by academic themes of arts, sciences, and cultural exploration. Each date is filled with fun group activities that exercise the body, challenge the mind and nurture the spirit of our youth. All sessions will include a snack, lunch, and camp t-shirt (1 per participant). Meet at door 1. July 15: Theater Exploration Day Camp In collaboration with Saint John’s Prep theatre students, engage in storytelling activities, develop and perform mini-plays, and take a “behind-the-scenes” look at Prep theater spaces. Then we take you outside to enjoy the woods and the trails of SJU. July 22: Wild Wonders Sciences Day Camp Take a wagon ride to explore the prairies, wetlands, and other wild places of the Abbey Arboretum. Anticipate we will do some things with insects, plants, and other fun creatures on campus. Youth Soccer Camp with Tech Boys HS Soccer Team (Grades 2-8)RecreationJoin us for an exciting soccer camp open to all 2nd - 8th grade boys and girls. Whether your child has never kicked a soccer ball or is gearing up for middle school soccer, all skill levels are welcome! Campers will be coached by the Tech Boys high school soccer players and grouped with others of similar ability, so every child can learn and grow at their own pace. Participants will learn & develop key soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and teamwork, all in a fun and encouraging environment. Each participant will also receive an official Tech Boys Soccer practice shirt to wear with pride. The fun doesn't stop there, campers will get the chance to show off their new skills in a "mini" game played on the turf during halftime of a 2026 Tech Boys soccer game.
