This solo exercise can be done anywhere and offers multiple benefits including increased concentration, coordination, muscle flexibility, and strength, as well as improved circulation. Practicing T’ai Chi daily with its slow, gentle movements and deep breathing can reduce stress and lower blood pressure. The Wednesday AM session is provided for women. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and nonslip socks or practice barefoot.Fall 2026

Beginning Karate for Kids (Ages 6-10)Health & FitnessKids are introduced to the aspects of Karate, a traditional martial art of Okinawa, at this hands-on class. We'll study the basics of punching, kicking, and striking with drills for balance, stability and body strength. We'll also learn how the bones in the body perform and gain understanding about life principles such as self discipline, awareness, empathy and ideas of self control for their future as well as in their lives right now. Discover how to more intentionally move in tandem your torso, hips, legs, ankles, and feet to achieve a balanced, and stable body. Self-Defense for Women, Mothers, & DaughtersWellnessEmpower yourself and your daughter as she prepares for new adventure heading to college, beginning a job, or navigating the world more independently. Through engaging drills, you will build awareness and confidence using simple self defense techniques for responding to against grabs, holds, and strikes. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
