Beginner Pickleball Lessons

Pickleball is an exciting way to socialize, build new skills, stay active, and have fun. These beginner sessions will teach you the rules, proper form, and basic strategies of the game so you can feel confident stepping onto the court. You will also learn the etiquette of open play and have the opportunity to connect with other beginners. Participants are welcome to bring their own paddles or use the paddles provided.

Beginner One sessions are designed for those who are new to pickleball and have little to no prior experience.

Beginner Two sessions is for players who understand the basic rules, can maintain a short rally, and are ready to continue developing their skills.

About the Instructor: With a passion for teaching, Mary Kelsey taught Physical Education in the Rocori School District for 37 years. She has extensive experience in paddle sports having played in the original Women's Tennis League as well as the upper levels of Women's Racquetball. Since retirement she has transitioned to becoming an avid pickleball player and coach having taught the game to hundreds newcomers in the area.
