Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid (Ages 11+)WellnessThe American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. These beginner sessions will teach you the rules, proper form, and basic strategies of the game so you can feel confident stepping onto the court. You will also learn the etiquette of open play and have the opportunity to connect with other beginners. Participants are welcome to bring their own paddles or use the paddles provided. Beginner One sessions are designed for those who are new to pickleball and have little to no prior experience. Beginner Two sessions is for players who understand the basic rules, can maintain a short rally, and are ready to continue developing their skills. She has extensive experience in paddle sports having played in the original Women's Tennis League as well as the upper levels of Women's Racquetball.
