Learn to Curl (Ages 14 & Up)

NEW! Whether you've only watched curling from the couch or have some previous experience on the ice, Learn to Curl is your chance to discover this unique Olympic sport! You'll learn the rules, safety, and etiquette, while practicing curling technique and strategy. By the end of class, you'll know what the house, hack, skip, and hog lines are!

All curling equipment is provided, including brooms, stones, and grippers. Bring to Class: a pair of clean, rubber-soled shoes to change into before going on the ice, and dress in comfortable, stretchy layers. The arena is cool, but you'll warm up quickly while sweeping.

This class is recommended for ages 14 and older. All participants must complete a waiver at the arena before entering the ice. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the class. Please enter through the main entrance of the Herb Brooks Hockey Center.
