Creating Crop Art (For the State Fair or Just for Fun)

Seed art is a long-time tradition at the Minnesota State Fair. Using assorted crop seeds, artists glue them to boards and other surfaces to make beautiful and creative works of art. This class will provide an introduction to crop art including a brief history, styles, specific techniques for making a seed art design, and how to enter your work in the State Fair. Participants will have an opportunity to begin working on their own project to bring home. Tuition includes supplies. About the Instructors: Amy and Steve Saupe are a father/daughter seed art team who have won multiple blue ribbons for their seed art entries at the Minnesota State Fair.  Enter door 2.
